Reporting Sick Leave Absences

Log Your Absence: Using the Automated Dispatch System (ADS), enter your absence through the internet or by telephone (ADS instructions). View Human Resource Informational Brochures
- Notify your Manager: You are responsible to report your illness or injury to your manager. If possible please provide information about the duration of your illness, and the general nature of your illness (note: you do not need to provide confidential medical information)
- Complete any additional forms required:

You can still log your injury using the telephone system. Email Human Resources and we will reset your password.
Returning to Work
After you have been off for an extended period of time (7 working days or longer), you must provide the following information to facilitate your return to work:
- Medical note from your doctor which outlines the date of your return and any limitations or restrictions to provide a safe and sustained return to work.
- Notify your manager and HR: this assists us in coordinating coverage for you while you are off work. It is also respectful of the scheduling needs of your replacement.
