The ABC Recognition Program
The ABC (Above & Beyond Champions) Recognition Program was established in 2021 to celebrate our people and culture and recognize employees in four areas: Continuous Improvement/Innovation, Leadership Excellence, Supporting Student Success, and Team Achievement.
In our first year, we received 36 nominations! Nominations are reviewed by a committee of teachers, support staff, and exempt employees, and presented to the senior leadership team for final decision. Baljeet Gill, Colin Abernethy, Deborah Chenier, Nicole Bliss, Shannon Thiesen, Steve Preston, Tambra Boerma-henderson and Vanessa Fleury - thank you for participating in something new and working together to recognize our colleagues.
We celebrated our four award recipients at the Long-Term Service Dinner on March 1, 2023. The 2021-22 ABC Recognition Program Award Recipients are:
