Jay Pankratz

Tell us about your career journey that lead to your current role? How long have you been with the district?
I've worked for Abby Schools since 1997 with a two-year break when I got my first VP position at Sardis Secondary in Chilliwack in 2003. Prior to that, I taught at Rick Hansen and Yale. I returned to Abby as the VP and then Principal at Yale. I moved to WJ Mouat as the Principal in 2014 and moved to my current role in the Spring of 2019.
 
What is the best part of working for the Abbotsford School District?
I love the people I have had the opportunity to work with and have enjoyed the variety of opportunities and challenges.
 
What is something unique about you that you would like to share? Do you have favorite hobbies or activities outside of the office?
I love to play golf. I also enjoy playing tennis with my wife.
