Project Connect

Our Kids Are Worth It

What is Project Connect?

Project Connect is an employee volunteer program, (i.e. open to school district employees only) providing support for various needs within our schools.

Support staff that typically do not work at a school, have the opportunity to connect with students and contribute to our District’s Mission and Purpose. Each employee may use up to the equivalent of 3 days (eg. regular hours per day x 3 days = total project connect hours) per calendar year.

Project Connect is a chance to use your talents and skills to make a difference in our schools. Participation in this initiative reinforces our collaborative efforts to help students be successful. Project Connect is a rewarding experience which benefits staff and students.

This grassroots program has been designed by support staff.

How Can I Help?

Project Connect offers the following areas of helping opportunities:

  • Reading Support
  • Sports Day
  • Christmas Performance
  • Science Fair Judging at University of the Fraser Valley
  • Fieldtrips
  • Band Events
  • Sports Events

How Do I Become Involved?

Project Connect is administered on a first come, first serve basis. The following steps are outlined below to secure involvement.
